Connie is one of the hardest working lawyers we know. She is dedicated to the firm she founded and is committed to helping her clients resolve their family matters in a dignified and respectful way. She always takes a client centered approach with the aim of empowering her clients to make sound decisions as they move through their family's transitions. Connie never misses the details and always goes the extra mile. She is kind and graceful under pressure and a skilled advocate.
In a career of over 20 years, Connie has appeared in the Manitoba Court of Queen's Bench and Court of Appeal. She is a strong proponent of Collaborative Practice and is currently serving on the Management, Steering, Governance and Conference Committees of Collaborative Practice Manitoba. She is dedicated to the legal profession and sits on the executive committee of the Manitoba Bar Association - Family Law Section.
Connie has long supported the advancement of women in the legal profession and is an inspiration and role model to her colleagues. She has helped educate law students as past faculty at the University of Manitoba Law School and as an instructor for the CPLED program through the Law Society of Manitoba. Connie has appeared as a panelist or presenter for many seminars to the legal profession.
When Connie is not at Petersen King, you will find her driving her roadster, cheering on the Bombers and Jets, and exploring the world.
